#6 Opera Series at Cinghiale for BmoreArt Magazine

*Note: The photos just went live in the digital BmoreArt edition so you can check out the full story with Cara Ober's illustrative essay write there too.
When Cara Ober, ed-in-chief of BmoreArt magazine texted me to see if I could join her for a night of enjoying and photographing opera for a BmoreArt feature, of course I said yes.
After a flute of champagne we hurried to a cute little corner table for two. Between bites of classic Italian antipasti and secondi and primo piattos, she scribbled notes and I took photos describing the feel of the place and the sound of the musicians.
A few warm, cozy and melodic textures and candlelit sights and sounds later, I’d photographed my first opera at Cinghiale restaurant in Harbor East. The art of opera is very much alive and well. For those who don't love it, or know anything about it, entering it via Cinghiale's welcoming doors made it easy and delicious. It felt like I'd driven my lil 2015 Golf VW to Italy via 83 South.
Shoutout to the ultra-talented musicians who allowed me to photo them throughout their performance (in silent mode, of course).
